"HardWire shares the Elixir Strings philosophy of developing high-quality products that are built to last. We are happy to be partnering with them," says Craig Theorin, Elixir Strings product manager. "Our current promotion with HardWire is a great way for our players to expand their guitar rigs while getting some extended use out of their strings."

HardWire’s Extreme Performance pedals represent a commitment to quality and attention to subtle details. In addition to technical enhancements like true bypass and high voltage operation, all HardWire Extreme Performance Pedals feature rugged, all-metal construction; a wide, stage-stable footprint; durable, custom-machined metal knobs for a sure grip and precision potentiometers that guarantee knob positions will stay intact. Effects featured in the line include Chromatic Tuner, Tube Overdrive, Valve Distortion, Metal Distortion, Stereo Chorus, Delay/Looper and Stereo Reverb.

"We are excited to have Elixir Strings be part of our promotion due to the extended play they provide," says Jason Lamb, marketing manager at HardWire. "Now, through this promotion, our HardWire pedal players will have even more time to try out their new effects without having to change strings."

About Elixir® Strings
Elixir Strings is the pioneer in coated string technology and is available in two string "flavors". Strings with ultra-thin NANOWEB® Coating provide the bright tone and punch of uncoated strings, yet keep their lively tone three to five times longer than ordinary strings. The thin coating is nearly undetectable, providing the feel of traditional strings. Elixir Strings with original POLYWEB® Coating also sound great three to five times longer than ordinary strings, have a balanced tone with smooth response, feel comfortably smooth and reduce finger squeak. Elixir Strings are available in a full range of gauges for acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass, banjo and mandolin.

Today, Elixir Strings are installed as original equipment by a growing list of discriminating electric guitar and bass manufacturers, including Ibanez, Tom Anderson Guitarworks, Brian Moore Guitars, Carvin, Melancon Guitars as well as premium acoustic guitar luthiers such as Taylor Guitars, Santa Cruz Guitar Company, Lakewood Guitars, CA Guitars, Carvin, and Goodall Guitars. Elixir Strings are endorsed by popular artists such as Melissa Etheridge, Train, Dave Mason, Michael W. Smith, Jim Messina, Christopher Cross, Bob Seger and Drowning Pool.

Elixir Strings are manufactured by W. L. Gore & Associates, the company widely known for such innovations as GORE-TEX® Fabrics.
